Amélie Ravalec is a London-based film director, video editor and colourist. Her third documentary,
Art & Mind is a journey into art, madness and the unconscious, an exploration of visionary artists and the creative impulse, from the Flemish Masters of the Renaissance to the avant-garde movement of Surrealism and the unsung geniuses of Art Brut and Outsider Art. The film opened theatrically April 2019, with over 200 screenings worldwide.

Amélie’s previous documentary Industrial Soundtrack For The Urban Decay traces the origins of Industrial music, from the crumbling industrial cities of Europe to America’s thriving avant-garde scene. Industrial Soundtrack opened theatrically May 2015 with over 130 screenings in 30 countries, and was acquired by ARTE TV in 2017. The film was featured in The Guardian, Sight & Sound, Film Comment, Vice, Pitchfork, Fact and The Wire.

Ravalec’s debut film Paris/Berlin: 20 Years Of Underground Techno documents the underground movement of techno through the lens of two very different cities, from secret Parisian parties to Berlin’s infamous Berghain club. Paris/Berlin was released in 2012 in 20 countries and won the Festival Pick Award at Sydneys Fringe Festival in 2013.

Amélie co-founded the VR production company Circle Time, based in Paris and London, with clients including Musée d'Orsay, Opéra de Paris, SNCF and FNSEA. Amélie also edited VR feature film Fan Club, starring Sylvie Testud, Mathieu Kassovitz and Denis Lavant, released 2019.

Amélie published photobook Japan Visions in 2018. She also ran Fondation Sonore, underground techno label and events.

Matt Garcia

Matt Garcia is a London-born media and fitness entrepreneur. In 1996 Matt established one of the UK’s first internet design and tech agencies, with clients including Virgin Atlantic, BBC and Macmillan. He went on to create a unique social media platform empowering ‘everyday people’ to earn from their social media profiles, leading to Trendwise calling Matt a ‘pioneer of sellsumerism’.

As a photographer Matt worked extensively in music, reportage and events in both the public and private sectors, with clients including the Royal Navy, Barclays Bank and Shell. Owner of the London Daylight Studio in Crouch End, North London, Matt’s guests included actress Keira Knightley and film director, Marc Foster.

After more than 15 years in media and photography Matt sought his next challenge. A keen boxer and qualified England Boxing coach, in 2012 Matt founded Total Boxer®, the UK’s first boutique boxing club, and innovative training formats including Get FIT Not HIT®, BoxingYoga™ and HIIB®. In 2018 Total Boxer was voted Best Boxing Club in North London and Matt received the prestigious MINDBODY Visionary Award.

Returning to his creative roots in 2019 and combining his extensive boxing knowledge, Matt co-founded Cornerman Films with filmmaker Amélie Ravalec, to become the first fighting arts production company.
